Search Engine Marketing ( SEM ) Los Angeles

Search Engine Marketing is a form of Online and Internet Marketing which include Search Engine Optimization, Pay Per Click, paid advertising and etc. In simple words, Search Engine Marketing and SEM is buying paid search listings.

In the current market, the largest Search Engine Marketing vendors include: Google AdWords, Yahoo! Search Marketing and Microsoft adCenter. No big surprise there. These three vendors are the largest search engines on the internet.

So what is the difference between SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) and SEM
( Search Engine Marketing )?

Search Engine Marketing is when you are simply paying the search engine to place you on their search engine. This is referred to as Pay Per Click. Search Engines place your website o their "Results Page" and when visitors, searching for your specified keywords, click on your website you get charged.

On the other hand, Search Engine Optimization is much more complex and harder to achieve. This is usually referred to as "Natural or Organic SEO or Search Engine Optimization". What this means is that a Search Engine Optimization expert tweaks your website in a way that would come up on search engines naturally and when visitors visit your website, you would not get charged.

Search Engine Marketing ( SEM ) is the easy way out for web designers. Search Engine Optimization takes knowledge, patience, expertise, & work. On the other hand, Search Engine Marketing needs nothing but a lot of money.

Our purpose is not to put Search Engine Marketing down. SEM actually work very well for large corporations that have a huge marketing budget and need to see results very fast.

Search Engines have an algorithm to analyze websites. They also have something called a robot ( Spider ) which visits websites and analyzes them. Search Engine Optimization experts' job is to make sure the website is "Search Engine Friendly. This means that the Robot, Crawler, or the Spider of the Search Engines can go through the website with no hassles. This includes minimizing flash objects, removing frames, and etc.
